Philadelphia Eagles’ running back Saquon Barkley shares a strong bond with his 6-year-old daughter, Jada. The two recently showed off their special handshake before a playoff game.

On February 9, Barkley and the Eagles secured a dominant victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl—marking a first for Barkley (and it happened on his birthday!). But before the big game, Jada sent her dad a heartfelt voicemail with words of encouragement.

The Player’s Tribune shared the sweet message from Jada: “I’m really thankful that you’ve been caring for our whole family, and I know you’re going to win,” she said. “But if you don’t, that’s okay! I will always, always love you.”

While winning the Super Bowl was likely on Barkley’s mind that night, Jada made it clear that her pride and love for him went beyond the outcome. “Our family will always love you, no matter what you do,” she added. It was a beautiful reminder from the wise little girl that there are more important things than winning—like the love of a family.

The father-daughter duo shared plenty of sweet moments after the Super Bowl win. Immediately following the victory, Barkley rushed to the sidelines to join his family, including his fiancé, Jada, and their son, SJ, as confetti rained down onto the field.

Later, during a post-game interview, Jada joined her dad on his lap. When one of the interviewers asked, “Guess what? Your dad just won a Super Bowl…What do you want to say to him?”, Jada shyly replied, “Congratulations, my favorite.” It was clear that she’s a true daddy’s girl, and the moment was simply adorable.

Barkley wasn’t the only one celebrating with his kids—Philadelphia Eagles’ head coach Nick Sirianni, who also has three children, was emotional as he shared the win with his family. After his first win as a coach, Sirianni was seen hugging his kids, tearfully expressing his joy. “Here come the happy tears,” he said during a Fox Sports interview. He and his youngest son, Miles, even started chanting “E-A-G-L-E-S” for the camera.

It was a fantastic night for Philadelphia Eagles fans, and an even more memorable night for those who got to share it with their dads.
