Exclusive: ‘Mail with Mr. ZIP’ Premieres on YouTube This Weekend

A special new series, Mail with Mr. ZIP, is coming to YouTube this weekend. The 48-episode series, each lasting two minutes, is designed for preschoolers, and Parents is giving you an exclusive first look at the trailer.
Introducing Mail with Mr. ZIP
In Mail with Mr. ZIP, kids will join Mr. ZIP on exciting adventures that teach them the importance of connecting with others through mail, while also emphasizing kindness and good citizenship.
“Mr. ZIP embodies the same values as USPS [United States Postal Service] and Moonbug: compassion, empathy, and resilience,” says Kirsten McAuliffe, Head of Ad Sales & Brand Partnerships at Moonbug Entertainment. “He’s not just a regular mail carrier—he’s a beloved community helper, always ready to lend a hand.”
Mr. ZIP is joined by his friends B. Franklin, a clever bald eagle, and Farley, a thoughtful U.S. Postal Service collection box. The characters are designed to teach kids valuable lessons while having fun.
“B. Franklin is Mr. ZIP’s inventive sidekick, always ready to problem-solve with his eagle-eye perspective,” McAuliffe adds. “Farley, named after former Postmaster General James A. Farley, is always there to help collect mail and bring joy to the community.”
Together, the trio embarks on daily adventures, helping others and fostering kindness, just like real-life mail carriers. “We want kids to connect with the characters and enjoy the series,” says Amity Kirby, Manager of Licensing + Creative at USPS.
Moonbug Entertainment, the company behind hits like CoComelon and Blippi, is also responsible for Mail with Mr. ZIP. Mr. ZIP made appearances in two crossover episodes with Blippi in late 2024 and early 2025, amassing over 3 million views.
Mr. ZIP’s Rich History

Though Mr. ZIP is making his YouTube debut now, the character is actually over 60 years old! Created in the 1960s by the U.S. Post Office Department to introduce the new ZIP code system, Mr. ZIP became a popular figure in comic books and on TV.
So, why bring him back now? “Mr. ZIP has a special place in our history,” explains Kirby. “We saw an opportunity to reimagine him for today’s audience, introducing new characters to connect younger viewers to his world.”
In today’s digital age, many kids don’t have the same attachment to “snail mail,” but the show highlights the joy of receiving personal letters and the crucial role USPS plays in communities across the country. “We’re not just the delivery service—we’re your neighbors, family, and friends,” Kirby says.
For families who want more Mr. ZIP, new children’s books and plush dolls are also available. You and your little one could even try mailing a letter to a friend, sharing everything they’ve learned from the series!
